Millicent Akoth Oloo

Millicent Akoth Oloo was born in Nyadhi Village, Siaya County, Kenya. She is the author of A Pillar of Hope: Dreams of a Little Hunter Girl, a powerful memoir rooted in resilience and advocacy. Raised in extreme poverty and adversity, Millicent’s life journey reflects courage, faith, and determination. She currently lives in Germany and works in hospital medical support with the American government. A passionate advocate against child sexual, physical, emotional, and economic abuse, she believes poverty and limited education fuel cycles of violence. Through her work and writing, she seeks to be a pillar of hope for girls, women, and vulnerable communities worldwide.
