Henry Muoria

Henry Muoria (1914–1997) was a pioneering Kenyan journalist, political thinker, and nationalist who founded the influential Gĩkũyũ-language newspaper Mũmenyereri in 1945. A key figure in pre-independence political discourse, his writings played a vital role in mobilizing public sentiment and documenting the early anti-colonial movement led by Jomo Kenyatta and the Kenya African Union (KAU).
