Wole Soyinka

Wole Soyinka is a world-renowned Nigerian playwright, novelist, poet, and essayist who became the first Black African to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1986. Famed for his rich mythic drama and biting political satire, his landmark works include Death and the King's Horseman, A Dance of the Forests, and The Interpreters.
