Mukii Gachugu

Born in a poor neighbourhood of Nairobi city, Kenya, Mukii graduated from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, and proceeded to undertake post-graduate studies in science and business studies in the Netherlands and Australia. His experience working as a wildlife ecologist in Africa, as a public servant in Kenya, Australia, and the Pacific, and with NGOs and private sector institutions has provided him with a deep understanding of global geopolitics and practical knowledge of how the world works. This is reflected in his writing. He exploits his African heritage, growing up poor in Africa, and his international exposure to tell stories of struggles, dreams, and empowerment in an uncertain world.
